Terms and Conditions for Renters<\/strong><\/h5>

These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS, organization number: 934094271, as the service provider (\u201cService Provider\u201d \/ \u201cEngineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS\u201d \/ \u201cWe\u201d), and you as the tenant (\u201cTenant\u201d or \u201cUser\u201d). The agreement governs your rights and obligations as a user of Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS\u2019s products and services, as well as Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS\u2019s rights and obligations as the provider of the service. Access to and use of the service is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions. We encourage you to read carefully and familiarize yourself with the applicable terms and conditions of the Service Provider, including the privacy policy and other conditions of the Service Provider.<\/p>

Tenant at Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS<\/strong><\/h5>

The service is made available to you by Engineering and Consulting AS. Tenant status can be applied for by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Importantly, our workshop is exclusively available for non-commercial, hobby use. We do not offer rentals to professional entities or for commercial purposes, ensuring that our resources are dedicated to enthusiasts seeking personal development and enjoyment in their craft. This policy helps maintain the integrity and intended community-oriented use of our facilities. Our workshop is primarily intended for general mechanical works and maintenance. It is important to note that the workshop is not equipped or approved for:<\/p>

1. Car washing. If you wish to clean your car, this must be done outside the workshop, and only biodegradable cleaning products should be used. It is permitted to dry, polish, and perform other finishing tasks indoors, but the main washing should not take place inside the workshop.<\/p>

2. Furthermore, the workshop is not designed for car painting. There is insufficient ventilation available, and painting could generate flammable and explosive atmospheres.<\/p>

3. The workshop is also unsuitable for welding and other tasks that require special ventilation or other specialized devices or safety measures.<\/p>

Hammers or other impact tools are not allowed to be used directly on the floor. If you need to strike car parts or other objects with a hammer, please do so only on a designated work table or outside the workshop.<\/p>

If you choose to engage in any of these activities, or other activities that can create fire or explosion risks or damage, it will be at your own risk. Any accidents or damage resulting from such activities will make you financially responsible for all damages.<\/strong> Before carrying out any of the aforementioned activities, you must ensure to protect all tools, equipment, and the workshop itself against potential risks, dirt, and other hazards.<\/p>

We reserve the right to wholly or partially transfer our rights and obligations to another company. This may involve transferring your information to another company. You will receive reasonable advance notice from Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS in the event of such a transfer.<\/p>

By renting our workshop, you confirm and declare that you are well aware of how to conduct yourself and how to use all the tools and equipment available in the workshop. You declare that you do not need assistance and that you are fully aware of any potential dangers that may threaten you, and that you will prevent them. You also acknowledge that any accidents are your own responsibility, and you will not hold the landlord accountable for them.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>

Booking and Agreement Process<\/strong><\/h5>

Reservations must be made at least two hours in advance. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the reservation will be activated. Once a booking is received by our server, a legally binding agreement is established between the Renter and the Landlord. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as the rental is registered with us. If a binding booking is canceled or changed, the Renter will be charged according to the applicable price list for cancellations and changes. We reserve the right to refuse any rental without further explanation. When you rent the workshop, the Renter primarily pays for the use of the room itself. All tools and equipment offered in the workshop are provided as additional facilities at no extra cost. As such, malfunctions or unavailability of these items do not entitle the Renter to terminate the rental or claim reductions in rental fees.<\/p>

Rental Period<\/strong><\/h5>

The rental period begins at the time specified in the booking. The renter will receive an access code via email no later than 15 minutes before the rental period starts. The renter must leave the workshop as indicated in the booking and before the departure deadline. The departure is considered complete when the workshop is cleaned and locked. The access code will be deactivated within a maximum of 15 minutes after the departure deadline. The renter will be charged for each hour started after the rental period ends. We do not provide refunds if the renter finishes the activity before the rental period ends.<\/p>

Renter's Obligations and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h5>

Leietakeren er personlig ansvarlig for alle typer aktiviteter i verkstedet og dets omgivelser. Leietakeren bekrefter at de fullt ut forst\u00e5r alle farer forbundet med aktiviteter i verkstedet og bekrefter at de er fullt ut kunnskapsrike og har de tekniske ferdighetene som kreves for \u00e5 utf\u00f8re alle aktiviteter i verkstedet. The workshop needs to be cleaned after activities and before the Renter leaves. All tools must be returned to their original places, and all dirt and garbage need to be removed from the workshop.
The Renter commits to treating the workshop and all tools and equipment in a responsible manner and will not:<\/strong>
Charging of electric cars or other items\/devices\/vehicles that are not used directly for repairs and activities in the workshop during the rental period.

Rent out the workshop, tools, or equipment to others.
Use the workshop, tools, or equipment for illegal purposes or criminal activities.
\u2022 Allowing others who are not approved by Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS to use the workshop, tools, or equipment
Use the workshop, tools, or equipment for activities related to illegal substances and materials, according to Norwegian law.\u00a0<\/p>

Damages resulting from use in violation of these points are compensable, and Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS and the Lessor have the right to full reimbursement for financial expenses or losses. Violations of the above points are considered significant breaches of the user terms, giving Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS the right to terminate your profile with immediate effect. Throughout the rental period and until the workshop is returned to the Lessor in accordance with this agreement, the Renter bears all responsibility for the workshop and its use unless it is due to conditions on Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS's part.<\/p>

Cleaning and Maintenance of the Workshop, Tools and Equipment\u2019s Condition<\/strong><\/h5>

The workshop, along with all tools and equipment, must be returned in the same condition as it was at the beginning of the rental period. This includes ensuring that all equipment is accounted for, cleaned, and returned to its designated place. The tools and equipment must be thoroughly cleaned and placed back in the same locations as they were found. The workshop itself must also be cleaned thoroughly; floors should be swept, surfaces wiped down, and any debris or spills must be cleaned up promptly.
In addition to general cleaning, the following maintenance protocols must be observed:<\/p>

\u2022 Tool Maintenance:<\/strong> Sjekk regelmessig alt verkt\u00f8y for slitasje og skader. Eventuelle verkt\u00f8y som er funnet feilaktige eller skadede skal umiddelbart rapporteres til Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS. Verkt\u00f8y skal rengj\u00f8res for smuss, fett eller rusk etter hver bruk for \u00e5 opprettholde funksjonaliteten og forlenge levetiden. Vennligst overhold f\u00f8lgende regler:
\u2022 Equipment Care:<\/strong> Ensure that all machinery and equipment are turned off and unplugged after use. Check for any signs of malfunction or damage and report these immediately. For electronic equipment, ensure that cables are coiled and stored properly to avoid damage.
\u2022 Safety Checks:<\/strong> Perform routine checks to ensure all safety measures are functional. This includes checking fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency exits to ensure they are accessible and in working order.
\u2022 Waste Management:<\/strong>Renter is responsible for removing all waste generated during the rental period. The workshop does not provide waste disposal services. Renter must take all garbage and waste with them upon departure. For your convenience, a box containing bags and other disposal supplies will be available for purchase on-site. It is imperative that no waste is left in or around the workshop premises.
\u2022 Final Inspection:<\/strong>Before leaving, conduct a final walk-through to ensure that no equipment is left out of place, that the workshop is clean, and that there are no potential safety hazards. Photographs of the cleaned workshop and properly arranged tools may be taken as proof of compliance with these terms.<\/p>

Damage and Technical Faults Discovered at the Start of the Rental<\/strong><\/h5>

When renting the workshop, the tenant primarily pays for the use of the space itself. All tools and equipment provided in the workshop are offered as additional facilities at no extra cost. If there is any doubt regarding the maintenance and condition of the workshop, tools, or equipment, Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS should be contacted immediately. These must not be used until the matter has been clarified with Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS. Please note that Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS accepts no responsibility for any malfunctions of tools or equipment. The availability of these tools and equipment is a courtesy, and they are not included in the rental cost of the workshop space. As such, malfunctions or unavailability of these items do not entitle the tenant to terminate the rental or claim reductions in rental fees.\n\nTechnical issues that may occur, or that come to the attention of Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS during a rental period, and that can be resolved within a time reasonable in relation to the tenant\u2019s needs and the rental period, do not entitle the tenant to terminate the rental. If the tenant nevertheless chooses to terminate the rental, they will remain responsible for the rent during the rental period, with a deduction corresponding to the time that would have been spent on the repair.\n\nFurthermore, Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS is not responsible for expenses the tenant may incur in connection with returning the workshop to its original condition. If the repair cannot be arranged within the mentioned timeframe, the tenant may, if Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS has the possibility, transfer the rental to another equivalent location. If not, the rental is considered terminated from the moment Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS received notification of the matter from the tenant. Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS will then have no responsibility for any losses or liabilities the tenant may incur.<\/p>

Skader og Tekniske Feil som Inntreffer Under Leieperioden<\/strong><\/h5>

The tenant is obligated to contact Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS without undue delay regarding any damages or technical faults that occur. Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS or their representative will then provide the tenant with instructions on how to proceed. Under no circumstances may the tenant carry out repairs or corrections, or engage a third party to do so, without prior approval from Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS. The tenant is responsible for all theft and damages that occur during the rental period.\n\nThe tenant must complete a full accident report and should not leave the workshop\u2014unless remaining on the premises poses a risk to life\u2014without taking appropriate safety measures. The completed accident report must be submitted to Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS without undue delay after the damage has occurred. If the notification and\/or accident report is not submitted to Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS in accordance with the guidelines of this agreement, the tenant is responsible for any additional costs arising from the damage that may be attributed to the delayed or omitted delivery of the accident report.\n\nFor any damages that occur, Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS reserves the right to invoice the tenant within the scope of this agreement. The tenant is obligated to pay even if there is a dispute or a basis for recourse against a third party.<\/p>

Reporting of Damages and Deficiencies<\/strong><\/h5>

Damage Control and Inspection Obligation<\/strong>t<\/h5>

The Renter must always check the workshop externally for damages and other faults, and take pictures of all aspects of the workshop both before beginning and after completing the rental. The Renter must also check the workshop's condition internally at the start and end of the rental, reporting all deviations, including damages, dirt, trash, missing or defective equipment, any odor, and other factors that affect the workshop's perceived condition. The Renter must take a picture of all reported problems that are visible.<\/p>

If the Renter is in doubt about whether the condition of the workshop should be reported, Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS\u2019s customer service should be contacted for clarification before the Renter leaves the premises. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that the documentation of the workshop's condition through pictures is of sufficient quality to document damages, scratches, and deficiencies before and after a rental. Documenting the workshop's condition is necessary to terminate a rental, as referenced in the section \"Rental Period\" below. Failure by the Renter to document the workshop's condition is the Renter\u2019s own risk and constitutes a significant breach of the user terms, giving Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS the right to terminate the profile with immediate effect. The Renter is responsible for damages discovered after the rental period and which are not documented before the start of the rental by the Renter.<\/p>

By taking pictures\/videos at damage control as documentation of the workshop\u2019s condition at the beginning and end of the rental, you grant Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS a non-exclusive transferable right to use, modify, publicly display, reproduce, distribute, and share with third parties this content.<\/p>

Obligations and Responsibilities of Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS<\/strong><\/h5>

Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS is a service that allows Renters and Lessors of workshops to come into contact and complete a rental in a smooth and seamless manner. Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS handles contract signing, payment, damage control, and opening. Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS cannot be considered a party in any rental agreement.\nIf Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS fails to fulfill its obligations under this agreement, the User may demand that Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS rectify the deficiency at its own expense if this can be done without causing Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS unreasonable cost or inconvenience.\nEngineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS assumes no responsibility for damage to or loss of property that the User or another person has left, stored, in the workshop during the rental period, or after return. The User waives the right to make claims against Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS for such losses or damages.\nEngineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS disclaims any liability to the User with regard to loss of time, money, or other that may arise from, or be related to the rental beyond liability described in this agreement. Compensation for indirect losses that the Renter suffers, such as operational interruptions, deprivation, lost profits as a result of a rental falling through or not being properly fulfilled, or damage resulting from something other than the rented workshop, can only be claimed if Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS has shown gross negligence or intent.<\/p>

Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS is not responsible for content, material, and other items that appear on third-party websites that have linked to Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS or are linked from Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS<\/p>

Force Majeure<\/strong><\/h5>

If Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS is prevented from delivering the service or such a delivery obligation becomes unreasonably burdensome as a result of labor conflict or any other circumstance when the parties cannot control it, such as extreme weather, fire, war, mobilization or unforeseen military calls of similar scope, requisition, seizure, currency restrictions, riots, scarcity of transportation means, general commodity scarcity, restriction in the supply of driving force, as well as defects in or delays of deliveries from subcontractors or manufacturers due to such circumstances as mentioned in this point, Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS is exempt from all other liability.<\/p>

Changes in the User Terms<\/strong><\/h5>

Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS reserves the right to change the user terms. The current user terms are available on Engineering og R\u00e5dgivning AS 's website. In the event of significant changes in the user terms, you will be notified with reasonable notice. By continuing to use the service after the changes have taken effect, you agree to be bound by the user terms. If you do not accept changes, you are obliged to refrain from any use of the service.<\/p>

Disputes and Choice of Law<\/strong><\/h5>
